Tropical Smoothie

Ingredients (1 serving):

  • 1 big serving:
  • 1 handful of fresh (organic) spinach
  • 1 (frozen) banana
  • 1 (green) apple
  • water
  • 1 tea spoon of ‘greens’ (chlorella, wheatgrass, spirulina, etc.)
  • blender

Directions:

  • wash the spinach and apple
  • peel the banana
  • cut the apple and banana into pieces
  • put all ingredients in your blender and mix everything until you get a smooth, creamy drink
  • add some water if your smoothie is too thick

Healthy food alternatives:

  • use endive, broccoli or salad instead of spinach
  • use avocado instead of banana with (add if necessary, a teaspoon of organic honey for a sweeter taste)
  • use pear instead of apple
  • add some fresh ginger for more taste
  • make your smoothie extra healthy by adding some hemp seeds or a mixture of different types of super fruit

Preferably choose organic fruits and vegetables!
