Why the Interstitial Cystitis (Diet) Food List not works?

The cause of Interstitial Cystitis (IC) is a low-grade chronic inflammation, not caused by bacteria. This inflammation can be caused as well as increased by making the wrong food choices. There are a lot of food items and compounds in food that can trigger as well as aggravate this low-grade chronic inflammation. One of the most important one, which has the greatest devastating effect, is sugar. The Interstitial Cystitis diet list contains a lot of food items that contain sugar.

Next to that, also gluten, processed fats and histamine-rich or histamine releasing foods can increase the inflammatory activity. Unfortunately the ‘safe for the bladder list’ in the IC diet list contains plenty of these compounds. The only IC safe and effective diet is a tailor-made diet that matches your personal needs and helps you to tackle the chronic low-grade inflammation.
