Green Superfood Wheatgrass Smoothie

Ingredients (1 serving):

  • 1 big, ripe organic kiwi
  • ½ ripe avocado
  • 100 ml of hemp milk
  • 1-2 teaspoons of organic honey*
  • 1-2 teaspoons of wheat grass powder
  • blender or food processor

Directions:

  • peel and kiwi and cut it in half
  • peel the ripe avocado, leave half of it aside and dice it up (the other half can be used in a salad of another smoothie)
  • put the kiwi, ripe avocado, hemp milk, organic honey and wheat grass powder in your blender and mix until you get a smooth and creamy drink

Healthy food alternatives:

  • use orange instead of kiwi
  • use banana instead of avocado (in that case, leave out the organic honey)
  • use coconut milk or coconut cream instead of hemp milk
  • use spirulina or chlorella powder instead of wheat grass powder
  • add some hemp seeds, chia seeds or some raw nuts for more bite and flavor
